Overview

Rovve is a traffic-aware route monitoring app for saved commutes and one-way routes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

  • Account information from Firebase Authentication, including Google sign-in details such as your name, email address, and profile photo when you choose Google sign-in.
  • Route information you create in the app, including saved origins, destinations, commute directions, route names, and active route settings.
  • Traffic and route analytics needed to show live travel time, heatmaps, best departure recommendations, and home-screen widget updates.
  • Device, diagnostics, and app activity data used to maintain security, debug crashes, improve reliability, and understand feature usage.

How We Use Information

We use your information to sign you in, sync your routes, refresh traffic data, calculate recommendations, support widgets, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and improve Rovve. We do not sell your personal information.

Google User Data

If you sign in with Google, Rovve uses Google account data only to authenticate you and maintain your Rovve account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not transfer Google user data except as needed to provide Rovve, comply with law, protect users, or with your consent.

Service Providers

Rovve uses providers such as Firebase, Google Maps Platform, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and backend infrastructure services. These providers process information on our behalf so the app can function.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Rovve and meet legal, security, and operational requirements. To request deletion of your account or associated data, email hello@rovve.app.
