Delete Your Account

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Rovve is a traffic-aware route monitoring app for saved commutes and one-way routes. This page explains how to delete your Rovve account and the data tied to it. You can do this yourself in the app in a few seconds, or by email if you have already uninstalled.

Delete your account in the app

This is the fastest way and works for every account, including guest accounts. Open the Rovve app and follow these steps:

  1. Open the Rovve app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It signs you out and removes your account and data right away. There is no grace period and no way to undo it.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

If you only want to remove a saved route and its history, you can delete individual routes from inside the app while keeping your account and everything else:

  1. Open the Rovve app.
  2. On the home screen, open the menu on the route you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete route.
  4. Confirm when prompted.

Deleting a route permanently removes that route, its paired return leg for commutes, and its stored traffic and travel-time history. Your account and any other saved routes are not affected.

If you have already uninstalled the app

If you signed in with Google, email info@rovve.app from the Google email address associated with your account, and we will delete it. We can do this because that email lets us match the request to your account.

Guest accounts have no email, so we cannot identify them from an email request. If you use a guest account, please delete it from inside the app before uninstalling.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is removed permanently and immediately:

  • Your account, including your sign-in identity, name, and email if present.
  • All saved routes, including origins, destinations, labels, and route settings.
  • Your commute windows.
  • Your traffic and travel-time history, including the route checks (pings) we collect over time.
  • Your route analytics, such as heatmaps and best-departure data.
  • Your subscription records held by Rovve.
  • Your authentication identity.

Data you have already shared with the external services Rovve uses to run the app is governed by their own retention policies; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Retention and automatic deletion

We do not hold a copy of your account after deletion. There is no grace period: once you confirm, the data listed above is gone.

Guest accounts that stay inactive for 90 days are deleted automatically and permanently. Guest data is not tied to an email or sign-in identity, so we cannot link it to a later deletion request, and the auto-purge makes sure inactive guest data does not linger.
